1. Technical Foundations & Leadership (1989–2005)

My career began in the U.S. Army, where I earned two Army Achievement Medals while mastering mechanical systems and problem-solving under pressure. This technical foundation led to roles in textile machinery and advanced packaging systems, where I developed deep expertise in PLC programming using RSLogix 500 and 1000.

2. Storytelling & Brand Building (2005–2012)


In 2005, I launched Carolina Media Publishing, creating two community-driven magazines that generated $500,000 in annual revenue within 18 months. Through engaging storytelling, strategic marketing, and audience insights, I built a thriving media brand that connected businesses with their communities.
